Coordinated physician oversight
Dr. Janna, our Medical Director & Founding Angel, leads a team of at least two additional physicians. Our model includes a physician present on Sundays and continuity when she is unavailable or at another residence.
When daily care becomes more involved, families need a team that knows the person and works together. Dunmore brings daily physician oversight, dedicated caregivers and nursing into a coordinated residential care plan.
At Dunmore, exceptional care is built around personal relationships and extraordinary medical attention.
Our Medical Director, Dr. Janna, leads a team of physicians dedicated to the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.
With only approximately 14–16 residents across our first three luxury homes, our approach allows for a remarkably personal approach to medical care.
Dr. Janna knows every resident personally, while her physician colleagues provide continuity of care, daily oversight, and coverage when she is unavailable.
Our residents aren’t simply assigned a doctor. They are cared for by a coordinated medical team that knows them.

Each resident has a dedicated personal caregiver, supported by the broader medical team. Dedicated attention during waking hours, familiar routines and companionship are central to our residential model. Most frontline caregivers are nurses.
At least two nurses are on duty in each residence day and night, in addition to dedicated caregivers. Physicians, nurses, caregivers and families coordinate around the resident’s needs.
Mobility, medication management, personal assistance, chronic conditions and rehabilitation can all affect the right care arrangement. So do the person’s preferences and family relationships.
After two falls and two traumatic brain injuries, Alex’s father needed increasingly intensive care. Alex spent almost four years assembling a team they both trusted. That experience shaped Dunmore’s coordinated approach: Dr. Janna’s medical supervision, nursing and caregivers sharing observations and working together.
Ongoing physician continuity helps keep changes in condition from becoming isolated observations. Nursing and caregiver updates, medication oversight and specialist advice belong in the same conversation.
We coordinate with therapists, diagnostics, hospitals and other providers as appropriate. Nursing support is available day and night.
Our three-home collection includes the oceanfront flagship and two other luxury residences, with 14–16 rooms in total. The care standard remains consistent.
A residential assessment considers whether the home and available clinical support can meet the person’s needs. Emergency arrangements and escalation are part of the plan.
