Our Medical Director & Founding Angel, Dr. Janna Priscilla De La Cruz Castillo, is Dunmore’s founding and primary physician. She leads a team that includes at least two additional physicians. Together, they combine personal relationships with coordinated daily medical oversight across our first three residences.

Our Medical Director, Dr. Janna, leads a team of physicians dedicated to the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.
With only approximately 14–16 residents across our first three luxury homes, our approach allows for a remarkably personal approach to medical care.
Dr. Janna knows every resident personally, while her physician colleagues provide continuity of care, daily oversight, and coverage when she is unavailable.
Our residents aren’t simply assigned a doctor. They are cared for by a coordinated medical team that knows them.
A dedicated personal caregiver
Each resident has a dedicated personal caregiver, supported by the broader medical team. Dedicated attention during waking hours, familiar routines and companionship are central to our residential model. Most frontline caregivers are nurses.
Nurses in every home, at all times
At least two nurses are on duty in each residence day and night, in addition to dedicated caregivers. Physicians, nurses, caregivers and families coordinate around the resident’s needs.
Knowing what is normal matters.
How much they usually eat. Their energy in the morning. The way they communicate. A familiar physician learns the person’s ordinary day and can recognize when something changes.
Dr. Janna routinely sits with residents and helps with a puzzle. She spends quality time with residents during her visits, learning who they are through shared activities and conversation. Recreating that level of unhurried physician attention in the United States would be extraordinarily expensive.
Daily oversight from Dr. Janna and her physician colleagues is part of residential care across all three homes, including a physician present on Sundays. The oceanfront setting is different; the medical care standard is the same.
More Than One Doctor. One Coordinated Team.
Exceptional medical care should never depend on the availability of a single physician. Dr. Janna remains personally involved with every resident and family, while her physician colleagues provide continuity when she is unavailable or attending to responsibilities at another residence. Medication oversight, nursing observations, caregiver updates and specialist coordination come together around the resident.
Dr. Janna trained in Geriatrics and Gerontology at the University of Medical Sciences of Havana after graduating from UTESA. Her approach emphasizes quality of life, autonomy, dignity and the physical, emotional, psychological and social needs of older adults.
The team coordinates appropriate therapy, diagnostics, hospital referrals and pharmacy needs, with a clear family contact for practical questions and updates.

For residents, daily medical oversight and nursing support at all times are part of the complete residential model. For private in-home clients, concierge medical coordination and clinical services are tailored to the individual arrangement.
Our medical coverage includes a physician present on Sundays and coordinated communication among physicians, caregivers, residents and families. We discuss the care plan, professional responsibilities, specialist services and costs before the arrangement begins.
