Our Medical Director, Dr. Janna, leads a team of physicians dedicated to the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.
With only approximately 14–16 residents across our first three luxury homes, our approach allows for a remarkably personal approach to medical care.
Dr. Janna knows every resident personally, while her physician colleagues provide continuity of care, daily oversight, and coverage when she is unavailable.
Our residents aren’t simply assigned a doctor. They are cared for by a coordinated medical team that knows them.
A dedicated personal caregiver
Each resident has a dedicated personal caregiver, supported by the broader medical team. Dedicated attention during waking hours, familiar routines and companionship are central to our residential model. Most frontline caregivers are nurses.
Nurses in every home, at all times
At least two nurses are on duty in each residence day and night, in addition to dedicated caregivers. Physicians, nurses, caregivers and families coordinate around the resident’s needs.
Know the person, not just the condition.
A favorite song, the way they take their coffee, a reassuring voice or a familiar chair. Knowing those details helps care feel personal even as memory changes.
Alex’s mother had Alzheimer’s. Her memory care cost more than $10,000 a month, yet the family paid her former caregiver to check on her several times a day, at random times. That experience is central to Dunmore: attention, familiarity and accountability matter.

Together, they provide daily oversight and continuity when she is unavailable or at another residence. Caregivers and nurses share observations, support medications and bring changes to the medical team’s attention.
A dedicated caregiver supports each memory-care resident during waking hours. Most frontline caregivers are nurses, learning communication preferences and the routines that bring comfort. Nursing support continues day and night.

Choose the premier oceanfront residence or one of two non-oceanfront luxury homes. The standard of care stays the same; the right placement depends on the person’s needs and the home.
Supervision, mobility, routines, safety and family involvement are considered before a recommendation. We work through the care plan and costs with you.
